Nomination
Swiss Surfing is currently working on the nomination process for the quota places for all Swiss athletes. Once finalised, information about the further steps will be provided.
All athletes can only be nominated for one category.
Qualification and registration
Each European surfing association that is a member of the ESF (European Surfing Federation) can register the desired number of quota places for each discipline by January 14th 2026. According to the guidelines, the selection of athletes is the responsibility of the national federations. Direct registration by athletes is not possible.
In 2026, Swiss Surfing will organize the first international championship in rapid surfing. The Rapid Surf European Championship will be held from 23 to 26 September 2026 at the OANA indoor surfing facility in the Mall of Switzerland in Ebikon, near Lucerne.
