Hello! My name is Kai, I’m 10 years old and have recently joined the Swiss Surfing team as a rookie. Born in Cape Town to a Swiss mother and a South African father. I absolutely love surfing and can’t get enough time in the ocean. My biggest adventure so far? When I was 5, we sailed our boat from Cape Town, South Africa, all the way across the Atlantic to the Caribbean! We spent 4 years exploring islands in the Caribbean and the Bahamas. This is how I discovered the warm waves of the Dominican Republic, where I am currently living, and fell in love with surfing. Surfing makes me very happy. I love pushing myself to improve every session and I really enjoy competing too. I’m looking forward to representing Switzerland on the world stage. 🏄‍♂️🌴🇨🇭
